On 28 November 2022, the Council of the EU adopted the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), a cornerstone of the EU’s work on digital finance.
DORA will ensure that the European financial sector is able to mitigate cyber threats and stay resilient through operational disruptions. This will be achieved through new legal requirements concerning digital operational resilience: companies operating in the financial sector across the EU will have to make sure they can withstand, respond to and recover from all types of ICT-related disruptions.
