Protection of Communications Secrets Act

Short Summary
Adopted in 1993, but has been amended over the years. The purpose of this Act is to protect communications secrets and further enhance the freedom of communications by limiting the scope of restrictions with respect to the secrecy and freedom of communications and conversations and making due process of law mandatory. It describes legal bases for wiretapping or censoring private communications.
