Brazil and Cybersecurity in the Aftermath of the Snowden Revelations

This chapter examines how Brazil’s understanding of cybersecurity, and efforts in this area, have changed over the past decade. The author argues that, although new efforts have been launched targeting both “network security” and ” individual security”, the institutional architecture and related efforts remain highly fragmented.
